Design of a complex automated system for aquarists
Hedvíček, Michal ; Kunz, Jan (referee) ; Uher, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis deals with the theoretical design of an automatic control system for the aquarium and following simulation software environment Proteus ISIS. Due to simulation program can verify the behavior of the microprocessor in the specified functions, the correctness of electrical connections and errors in source code. The second part is analysis of commercial systems, their characteristics and applications. Apart from available commercial systems, there is a basic overview of commonly used peripherals in the aquarium, including their comparison and evaluation. Furthermore, the implementation of a complex system is done and the procedures and methods needed to set up the system are described. This topic also deals with cooling and reliability tests.
RaspberryPi Expansion Board
Divácký, Tadeáš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and subsequent realization of the expansion board for RaspberryPi. At the beginning, all the integrated circuits selected for this work are listed. In addition, the power supply section for power circuits and RaspberryPi is described here, as well as the realization of the board. The last part is focused on software and firmware that is in ATmega series and part of Raspberry Pi which includes listed libraries that sum used for the functionality of the program and written library for handling integrated circuits.
Logger pulse from wattmeter
Severa, Pavel ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
Most electronic wattmeter contains output for processing information on the con- sumption of other devices. The aim of this semestral project is to create a suitable device for reading output from power meter, store this information on the removable medium in size and ability to integrate into the distribution cabinet. Among other things, will monitor and record mode cheaper electricity, known as night mode.)
Design of ZigBee device - Analog inputs in range 0 - 10 V
Vepřek, Jan ; Kacz, Peter (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and realization device with analog inputs for ZigBee module. The first part of thesis contains analyse of possible solutions design of device and selecting the best choice. In the second part is function and connection of real circuits which I have used in device. In the third part is introduced function of software and description of functions. The communication between microcontroller and circuits through the use of programmed function is described. The last part is attended to user manual. There are descriptions controls of device and radio communication between two devices.
Digital clock with surface mounted matrix display
Filka, Tomáš ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with a draft of digital clock controlled by DCF77 signal transmitted from deutschland Mainflingen, designed as table clock. Matrix LED display, size 8x32, in form of a module that is soldered to a basic plate, and is used for displaying. Possible technical solutions for driving dot LED matrix, mounting technology and other parts are described and the outcome is a designed schema with printed circuit board.
CCD detection of media meters with RF communication
Petřek, Miroslav ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement devices capable of sensing and transmitting states wirelessly, meaning the measured values of the consumption meters. In the work are first briefly described the basic types of the consumption meters and their possibilities of processing and transmission of the measured data. Furthermore, the most common types of communications used today for data transfer between sensors and microcontrollers are mentioned. The design of the device itself consists of identifying suitable units and their properties and then choosing the circuits. In the work is briefly described the process of schematic and printed circuit boards design, their installation with selected components and modules and the subsequent first startup. The penultimate part of the thesis deals with the design of software for commissioning and communication between the computer and individual components of the device. At the end, the results and suggestions for improvement of the existing equipment are consulted.
Battery powered datalogger with CPU
Andrýs, Jiří ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this design are mentioned processes of power consumption reduction of battery-powered devices.Execution of a project is software SPI for MMC card and file system FAT16 without extension of VFAT (Virtual File Allocation Table) – LFN (Long File Names). Hardware design consists of boost power supply, linear stabilizer, external RTC (Real Time Clock), IRQ low power modul, interface for MMC (Multi Media Card) and circuits for RS-232, RS-485. There is either a design of analog measuring interface.
Teaching guide for the ATMEL development board
Navrátil, Petr ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on developing applications for the developing board with microcontroller ATMEL (ATmega16). Bachelor’s thesis describes the microcontroller including a description of hardware components and control registers. This book describes the various peripherals on the developing kit with programming examples. Simple modules have been created for the developing board, which could be used to program complex project and easy aplications. On these modules are periphery as matrix keyboard, encoder, real time clock and circuit L293D for controling DC motor with PWM signal. The AVR Studio version 4.18 is described and used here as a programming software. This work should serve as a guide about ATMEL AVR ATmega series for beginning or advanced programmers. Examples of individual programs are a part of this work.
